Cool Enough and I did a B2B at the Plum House, bringing that groove and warming everyone up with some warehouse-type techno. The energy was high as the night progressed and being 3 am people were still rocking as if it started.

Continuing the "This is The Sound Of Quercus" series of DJ sets on my channel I am excited to present Volume #02 featuring both groovy and peak-time Tech House & Techno along with a couple of my new unreleased original tracks and edits.
This set perfectly embodies my vision as a DJ by taking the listener through a sonic journey, starting out with groovier Tech House tracks, then transitioning into the darker side of House and Techno music and finishing off with some more emotional tracks.
I think this set would be perfect for a smaller, more intimate and underground  venue because of the longer more drawn out transitions and overall track selection.

ich bin Tommes  alias Mr.Pot&Acid!!
...1993 mit zarten 13 Jahren durch Westbam - Celebration Generation mit 'Techno' infiziert und ab diesem Zeitpunkt alles eingesaugt was Elektronische Musik war!! Vom 13-15 Lebensjahr fast nur Rave, Hardcore, Gabba gehört und mit 16 Jahren die Liebe zu Detroit Techno und House entdeckt und ab dem Zeitpunkt jedes Wochenende in Clubs und Diskotheken gewesen wo dieser Sound lief. Mit 18 Jahren hab ich mir dann mal ne Tanztablette ins Wurstbrot gemischt und hab die Power und Energie dieser Musik vollkommen in mir gespürt und die Gefühle die es in mir auslöste waren unbeschreiblich wunderschön...a neverending Lovestory !! 
Hobbymäßig 1999 angefangen zu mixen, vom ersten Gesellenlohn direktangetriebene Turntables und Mischpult gekauft,Geld reichte allerdings nur für Reloop Nachbauten, lol ...von 1999 - 2010 mit Turntables und Vinyl gemixt und dann 2010 umgestiegen auf digitales mixen mit der Traktor S2 Konsole und MacBook!! In meinem Hirn sind extrem viele Track ID's gespeichert die zwischen 1989 bis 2015 veröffentlicht wurden, im Plattenregal stehen noch zirka 700-800 Schallplatten mit Burnertracks, Floorfillern, alltime Classics oder Gänsehaut Tracks die jeder kennt, die man immer und jederzeit spielen kann und ich zu jeder Platte ne Geschichte erzählen kann....und im digitalen Musikarchiv sind auch nochmal unzählige Tracks sämtlicher Genres und Musikstile, man bräuchte wahrscheinlich mehr als ein Menschenleben um all diese Tracks einmal durchzuhören!! ...Techno, House, TechHouse, Acid und Elektro sind die Genres die ich bevorzugt beim mixen, zwischen 115 BPM - 138 
BPM !! ...ab und zu mixe ich auch mal Musik zwischen 70 BPM - 160 BPM, Schneckno, HipHop, Rave, Chartmusik oder auf was ich gerade Lust und Laune habe aber das sind dann mehr so Testausflüge oder Experimente!!
Leider habe ich ein derbes Problem mit meinem Gehör, ich höre nur noch 50% (Schalltrauma rechtes und linkes Ohr gehabt vor Jahren und dabei die Flimmerhärchen im Ohr zerstört die fürs hören von hohen Tönen zuständig sind), ich trage beidseitig Hörgeräte und habe beidseitig Tinnitus (höre den ganzen Tag 1000 Grillen zirpen oder einen Wasserhahn der voll aufgedreht ist,Fuck it)..deswegen sind manche Übergänge eventuell nicht 100% richtig gut und man hört hin und wieder paar Kleine Fehler beim mixing aber who cares, Hauptsache die Mucke ist geil und man hat Freude und manchmal auch Gänsehaut beim hören!!!
Das is son Herzding bei mir...Music was my first Love ( im Bauch der Mutter,9 Monate in Dauerschleife ihren Herzschlag wo manchmal Geräusche ,Stimmen und Töne von außerhalb des Mutterleibs rein gemixt wurden) und bei meiner Beerdigung wird auch (Electronische) Musik laufen ( Track/Playlist ist in Arbeit)!! Ohne Musik könnte ich nicht gedeihen....Von Musik bekomme ich guuude Laune!!!...Ich liebe sie so sehr, sie macht mich glücklich,....und den einen oder anderen von euch vielleicht ja auch✨🙏🏼namaste‘☺️

Carlos Manaça is one of the main Portuguese DJ’s and producers and has been an essential part of the country’s Underground dance scene since its very beginning. In 2024 celebrated 38 years inside a DJ booth but his DJ schedule is still very busy. He plays mainly in Portugal but also plays in countries like Japan, England, Switzerland, Brazil, Luxembourg, Poland, Croatia, Germany, Mexico, Angola, Mozambique, Russia, USA, Canada and Spain, where he lived from 2002 to 2021. He has now moved back to Portugal.

As a producer his name started to get international exposure in 1995 with his remixes of O.L.N. "Oporto Deep Cuts EP" released on TRIBAL AMERICA (and Tribal UK), one of the main worldwide Labels at the time. His “Reboot 144” (Acid Error Mix) was the A Side of that release and was supported by no other than Danny Tenaglia, among many other artists.

In 1999 founded Magna Recordings, one of the first underground dance Labels in Portugal with releases by Victor Calderone, Chus & Ceballos, Richie Santana, Mendo, D-Formation, Natalino Nunes, Stephane K & Koutarou M, Peter Bailey, among many others. In 2001 co-produced the worldwide hit “The Strong Rhythm” with his long time friends Chus & Ceballos, included on “Deep Dish – Global Underground 021: Moscow” CD compilation which gave them their first worldwide success reaching the top of the dance sales charts all over the globe. 

With releases on Labels like SCI+TEC Audio, Stereo Productions, Toolroom, Orange Recordings, Transmit, Otto Music, Kinetika Records, Beat Freak Recordings, Moody Recordings, Kult Records, District Audio and his own Magna Recordings, among many others, Carlos Manaça is more motivated that ever. He still loves delivering his typical Tech House & Techno tribal influenced grooves to the clubbers every weekend, and feels that still has a lot of music to bring to the global Dance Scene.

Being also an Audio Engineer (took his course at the prestigious SAE Institute) and head of Beat Works, in 2022 started as a Mastering teacher at ETIC Lisbon, one of the best and well known audio school’s in Portugal, as well as an invited master class Mastering teacher at Pro-DJ in Oporto.
