After seeing that incredible video clip of Teddy Riley & Brandon Conway flipping "Remember The Time" — one of my all-time favourite MJ records — I felt inspired to give it my own spin… in a genre I’ve never touched before: Amapiano 🇿🇦🔥

It turned out way better than I imagined — and after posting a snippet on Instagram, the legend himself Teddy Riley reached out to me. Starstruck is an understatement. 🌟🙌 He even gave me the green light to share it on SoundCloud, after so many of you asked where you could hear and stream it.

ARUHTRA is an international DJ with over 26 years of experience in the music industry. Known for his dynamic sets, he spent a decade playing across the globe for Nikki Beach, gaining a reputation for bringing high-energy house music to some of the world’s most exclusive venues. From 2020 to early 2024, Aruhtra was a resident DJ at the prestigious Puente Romano and NOBU Resort in Marbella, further solidifying his status in the luxury music scene.

His collaborative track with Kings of Tomorrow’s Sandy Rivera, “Love Somebody Else”, became a notable hit, showcasing his talent in producing crowd-moving music. A follow-up track titled “My Rose” also made waves, reaching No. 4 on Traxsource’s Melodic / Progressive House chart. Two more exciting collaborations with Sandy Rivera are lined up for 2025.

Aruhtra has worked with some of the most respected names in the industry, including Lost Frequencies, Sonny Fodera, Martin Solveig, Solomun, and Sam Divine. His emotive house track “You Stopped Loving Me” was signed to 3 Beat Records for a 2024 release, and he has been tapped for an official remix of OMI’s “Poker Face”, set for mainstream release in summer 2025.

Aruhtra’s recent chart success highlights include:
	•	A No. 1 on Beatport Dance Pop with “One More” ft. Kye Sones (Total Freedom Recordings)
	•	A No. 1 on Beatport Funky Releases with “All For You” (PLAYEDiT Records)
	•	A No. 4 on Beatport Tech House with “Waiting” (Aruhtra Music)
	•	A No. 4 on Traxsource Melodic / Progressive House with “My Rose” (with Sandy Rivera)

In 2025, he also signed three tracks to the iconic PURE GARAGE label as part of their 25-year anniversary compilation—another testament to his versatility and credibility across genres.

He is also set to release a tech house collaboration with Martin Ikin on Know Where Records, cementing his place at the forefront of cutting-edge club music.
