A new jazz rock track I've been working on! This song features me on the tenor saxophone playing to my own composition. The expressiveness of the Expressive-E Osmose really brought this piece to life, adding unique textures and edgy layers. It's a blend of classic jazz sensibilities with the raw energy of rock and modern synth sounds. Hope you enjoy this teaser! Full version coming soon.

Delightfully memorable and appealing, Brolga Music Publishing's Solo Recital Collection re-arranges ten Classic Brolga Melodies for solo instrument with piano accompaniment. Aimed at students in their first to third year of playing, the melodies adapted from our classic concert band works challenge students across a range of styles from rhythmic and dance-like to lyrical and melodious, and everything in between.

With the Tides

This piece of melodic instrumental jazz/rock, features alto and tenor saxes, and an improvised guitar solo. 
After a short keyboard introduction, the main tune is played on alternating alto and tenor saxes. This  is followed by an improvised guitar solo, using the same chord sequence.
Overall, a very melodic and rhythmic piece.
Composed and recorded October 2025.

"Jörg S. born in Cologne, from youth on, is fascinated by all kinds of art, so he taught himself the saxophone very early. Nowadays flutes of all kind are also part of the equipment, as are jaw harps, percussion, bass, guitars and keyboards.
He was and is always involved in many band projects and session events.
In the 80s he was a saxophonist in the Adam Noidlt Intermission Orchestra with gigs in Berlin, Cologne, Düsseldorf and Basel. Very early on he also worked as a writer with live readings in the Cologne area and was a painter with large formats for many years, all in addition to his job as a graphic designer. Now, retired, he is devoted solely to music: home recording with the platform of choice, Soundcloud and global collaborations."
