I'm so very excited to share with you a deep house mixtape from my recent trip to Istanbul!  My good friends at Simone Istanbul had me out to their Sunset Sessions for an entirely wonderful evening of music, great drinks served up by their fantastic bartenders, excellent food from their restaurant and of course good friends, new and old!  This is one of my first forays into an afro house inspired set and along with some deep house and melodic house and techno, and it was a perfect compliment to the beautiful sunset across the city from their beautiful terrace!

Simone Istanbul Sunset Sessions - May 2025

Now residing in London, Ben Shelton has been absolutely destroying dance floors on the West Coast of the US since 2001. As a lead producer for Sound Ethic and Subsidize, these affiliations have allowed him to play along side such master producers as Christian Martin, Wood Holly, Hatiras and Max Graham to name a few, and his live sets have been featured on C89.5’s the Vortex, Seattle’s top live radio DJ showcase. In the last 15 years, Seattle’s crowds have heard a great mixture of musical styles across house and tech house from his repertoire. Having played gigs all over Seattle, Portland and the Pacific Northwest, at Burning Man, in Miami at WMC, in Las Vegas at the Palms and at the legendary Nikki Beach Club in Cabo San Lucas, Ben has the ability to properly move a crowd. Whether rocking the finest night clubs, underground parties, beautiful terraces or outdoor weekenders, you will always find Ben spinning filthy bass lines and bright melodies that obliterate dance centric crowds.
