This was like a personal prayer when I was desparately hoping Jesus would show me redemption of my past. The past I came from was very different than how I live now - I was heavily involved in witchcraft and the occult - I have since been delivered and Jesus is redeeming my past! I have seen so much redeemed since this prayer beyond my wildest expectatoins! Thats so cool about Jesus - no matter high or low expectations he is so much greater than anything we could come up with and he is more than able to redeem your past!

"See Your Face" is DDV | XIII’s signature cut of grunge-gaze worship... a collision of southern grit, shoegaze fog, and bruised confession.

Distorted guitars. A splintered banjo line. Testimony buried under noise and lifted back out again.

Grit. Grace. Grunge.

These songs were carved out of scars, recovery work, relapse circles, and sleepless nights... the places where God felt impossibly distant and painfully near at the same time.

This song is for the ones clawing their way out of the dark, the ones fighting to stay, the ones carrying visible or invisible wounds that never got their eulogy.

If you've ever felt forgotten, faith-starved, or stuck in the fog, this space is safe for you.

There is hope and purpose in the wreckage.

There is worship even here... in the chaos, in the noise, in the throat-level honesty of survival.
