Kerem Akın was born on August 25, 1986 in Samsun/Turkey and lived in Ankara until he was 9 years old. In 1995 he moved to Salzburg, Austria with his family.

From a young age he was interested in music. At the age of 17 he appeared as a DJ in various nightclubs in Salzburg and soon managed to make a name for himself in the scene. His first professional production was a remix he contributed to Polish DJ Tomekk's single "Touch It" in 2014. In 2015 he released his first single "Storm" under the stage name "DJ Jackson". In 2016 he founded his own music label "Tuğrem Müzik". In his more than 15-year DJ career he has been on stage with many well-known artists and has been involved in many productions.

He has been living in Turkey again since 2019. Kerem completed his acting training at the Müjdat Gezen Arts Center and, in addition to his music and sports career, is also an actor.
