Core of this piece was created with a modular synth path of Maths, Beads, Dual Dagger, TipTop Audio Z5000 delay, Data Bender, and FXAid reverb. The resulting soundscape reminded me of one of my favorite electronic/ambient composers Tetsu Inoue. 

Beloved ambient techno and electronic music composer Tetsu Inoue disappeared entirely after releasing his last album "Inland" in 2007. Friends, lovers, colleagues and collaborators have searched for him for years. One theory posed in long Reddit threads is that Tetsu perished in the 2011 tsunami in Japan. I've met tsunami survivors, and imagine the aftermath of devastation and search for survivors in this cinematic ambient track.
