The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service recently announced it is listing the Dunes Sagebrush Lizard as endangered.

The Texas Railroad Commission and U.S. Congressman August Pfluger of Texas have taken separate actions challenging the addition of the Dunes Sagebrush Lizard to the endangered species list.
