"LaFournaise" marks the debut of Point of Basalt: a short, minimalist instrumental piece celebrating birth. This track depicts an island's emergence from the deep, where the raw power of the earth meets the delicate essence of life's islets. A hypnotic meditation in three quarter meter on the fusion of elements and the uniting spectres that shape a sonic "native island."
