Raffaele Ciavolino was number 49 in the overall Traxsource artist chart last year and number 10 in the Jackin House Artist sub genre the year before that.

He started producing in 2020 with the Cruise group and soon went on to carve his own path in the house scene. His style is all about Jazzy, Funky and Deep House. 

With a solid experience as a Jackin House DJ over the years he has been successful releasing on the major labels in the genre.

Exclusive: Thomas Garcia - Ya Dig

Debuting on Miura Records it's Los Angeles-based House producer Thomas Garcia hitting hard with his  four tracker called Down To Play as the artist chose rather playful approaches to House music's various sub-genres to present a homogenous work that does not spare to cross boundaries within the main-genre. With releases on Club Bad, Berlin House Music and more Garcia now joins Sam Paradise & Whatever Charles' conglomerate of feel-good music certainly taking the same line with his Down To Play EP as the label, Miura Records, suggests. The second track, Ya Dig, is Garcia's excursion into Deep House realms with the genre typical (echoing) atmospheric chords, which hover over the track's monumental yet groovey bassline. Ya Dig is rounded off with adaptational vocals pushing the track the track into a more housey direction without taking the deepness away.

Thomas Garcia's EP Down To Play will be released on Miura Records on June 30th, 2023.

Torture the Artist - your source for contemporary electronic music

Torture the Artist is a webzine, or a magazine made for the internet, geared towards those with a passion for contemporary electronic music, with subgenres including Techno, Tech House, Deep House and Eletronica, as well as a small amount of Indie and Alternative. Founded in 2014 by Holger Breuer, a German native and lover of the arts, Torture the Artist now consists of five team members from all around the world.

In addition to publishing interviews, music reviews, DJ charts and track premieres, the webzine hosts out a  podcast series called 'art:casts'. This medium gives DJs and producers the artistic freedom to highlight their different musical styles while not being restricted by factors such as setting, and connecting them to a wider audience. 

Being in its ninth year, Torture the Artist has gained a strong and active online support group, including music enthusiasts to label managers and artists themselves, creating a cohesive community with music as their bond.
