The call and example of Jesus to likewise become a servant is a way to dismantle abusive power structures. He did not come to be served but to serve and give his life as a ransom for many. 

At St. Aidan's, we call newcomers to membership to commit their lives to one another in loving service. Serve the Lord with gladness and come before his presence with singing! We long to be joyful servants of the King.

10 09 2023  The Nations Have A Terrible Secret - Global Crisis

We all have a Godly purpose here.  God does not change anyone for our benefit - He put us where we are to influence a person to see the Fullness of Christ...or to be the last chance guy.
When you are truly tired of your situation you will take the steps to freedom.
At the time when you see what your sin is doing to others...that will be the time you put that sin down.
Psalm 84 - the Lord...our sun and shield...our glory...He will withhold no good thing.  God is not thru with you!
Colossians 2 - Christ is using His Body (you!) to do the healing of the world.  In Christ dwells the fullness of the Godhead bodily...We are the motions and greatness of His being - lacking nothing.
You can only get angry when you are trying to control.
We cannot live our life from a distance from Christ and expect Godly results.
Your resolve concerning Christ will ultimately show forth in your actions.  Walk in Him!

The question of whether Christians should go to church or not can only be answered by answering the question, are Christians the church or not.

Once again, Western-style individualism blocks us from even understanding the nature of the problem. The Bible insists that our highest value comes not from our individuality but from how our individuality flourishes in community. By ourselves we have no way of overcoming our personal weaknesses, but in community others cover up these weaknesses with their strength, as we do for them.

Unfortunately, Christians in America tend to be more individualistic than biblical: the notion that we can be Christians on our own outside of the Christian church creates a personal atmosphere of isolation and ignorance, but embracing the strange and scary reality of Christian community leads to flourishing and knowledge.
