That last Sublime Saturday was the right kind of unexpected. First-time guest Worth Planer wowed the crowd, a lot of whom happened to be his posse. He had us up and dancing with his rare, soulful sound. Best way for us to describe his sound is that he's a youthful man with an ancient Deep House soul. His style almost defies description. His selection and care in transition are uncommon and genuine expression. Thomas Fitzgerald started it all dark to set Worth up for the deep spike we knew he would give take advantage of for the win.

“Gaza City” is a hard-hitting protest rock track from Johnny Punish — a raw, unapologetic anthem exposing the horror, hypocrisy, and human cost of war.  Written in the tradition of Joe Strummer and punk’s conscience, this song takes aim at governments, profiteers, and the machinery of genocide — while standing in solidarity with ordinary people caught in the crossfire.

The lyrics pull no punches. From “Party Avenue” to “Freedom on parole,” Gaza City tells the story of everyday life under bombardment, the complicity of power, and the demand for moral accountability. It’s both a lament and a call for awakening — dedicated to all decent people in Gaza, Palestine, and Israel who suffer under the weight of psychopaths and profiteers.

Nantes-based artist Gisèle Kérozen debuts on Kyma Komplex with "Electric Equinox," an EP that functions as a coded transmission from the heart of a spontaneous creative surge. It captures the moment where a deeply personal impulse is processed and galvanised into a structured electric current. The EP feels like a live wire – insulation stripped away to reveal the raw, flickering core of improvisation, honed just enough in the studio to focus its wild energy. Through layered synths and driving percussion, it builds a resonant, cavernous space that bypasses cerebral analysis to trigger a direct, instinctual movement in the audience.

Premiered here, "What if The Clash Played Funk?" isn't just a track title; it's a genuine, delightful musical proposition that Gisèle answers with chaotic glee. He throws a Molotov cocktail of scratchy, punk-inflected guitar riffs and confrontational vocals straight into a swirling galaxy of cosmic funk. The result is a rebellious, low-end groove that somehow makes perfect sense – as if Mick Jones traded his amp for a phaser pedal and decided to start a dance party at the end of the world. It’s a punky, funk-fueled thought experiment that proves some clashes are meant to get you moving.

As the son of a professional flamenco singer, Thomas has always been surrounded by music.  Exposure to flamenco influenced him because it has a dynamic range of emotions—from the "deep singing" style of cante hondo, to the more lively alegrias.  He has also worked in the corporate, independent, and online music industry for a number of years.  At one point he was a Content Manager for the Electronic Music genre at MP3.com, where he screened over 500 songs per day.  Exposure to a wide range of music explains the range of genres in his mixes—he uses whatever carries the mood.  From listening to Umm Kulthum's "Enta Omri" in his childhood, to New Wave and  Industrial as a teen, it became difficult for him to stick to one sound. Though vinyl was his original format of choice when he started in the 90s, the use of digital mixing has helped him better form soundscapes to expand your headspace.  Let him play with your moods for a spell.
