Circuit is my original Sans, one me and my girlfriend created together. Part of his lore is that Frisk gave up against Undyne, but due to him actually bonding with the human throughout most of their journey, Sans actually decided to steal Frisk's SOUL and "Race to the Lab" in order to basically force Alphys to save them as he knows about the Amalgamates.

In the end, Frisk's SOUL was put into his eye using an emergency procedure so that his magic signature could keep them alive. This came with the added side effect of Sans (now named Circuit) having Frisk and Chara's ghosts floating around around him and talking to him, though nobody else can hear them.

His name is Circuit because the procedure gave him technological enhancements to his body to keep him safe and not kill him due to his low HP stat. Due to these enhancements bonding with his magic signature, Circuit now has technology based magic as well as Gaster Blasters and bones.

The BLOSSOME (portmanteau of "blossom" and "home"), which is a fusion of the Heart Foundation and the Gem and the Scotts base (mostly the latter, but the former is the actual 'power generation' part) is the only area to not use a Minecraft song as its main motif (the Limited Life Hotland is gonna have one too), since its primary motif is Grian's Death by Glamour equivalent which is an original motif.
Like the original Undertale, this is not interrupted by enemy encounters.

The BLOSSOME was a collaborative effort in this AU, not made by the Gaster replacement.
