The King's River Tapestry Collection hangs in the Longshed, Woodbridge, Suffolk. 
Thirty panels were made by local women who are interviewed for this first podcast of ’Tapestry Tales’. 
They tell the legend of how a jaybird planted an acorn in 400AD that grew into an Oak tree that became the Sutton Hoo Ship. 
The talented ladies recount how they sewed using mixed media, felting, embroidery and ingenuity to weave the story of the Anglo Saxons and King Raedwald and link them with stories of today, as seen in the Dig and the Detectorists.
