whewww! last mix for the year, #22, just in time for 2022!
the concept behind this mix is very personal to me. the songs tell a story about a break up. the void left from the break up can make a person's mental state spiral out of control. one must go through a series of emotions before one can achieve inner peace.

throughout this mix, i have sprinkled in my own twisted beats, in an attempt to channel the chaotic and uncontrolled destructive energy within me into something beautiful and vibrant. i have poured my heart out into this mix and well, what else can i say? there is a hole in my heart and grace is not in it. i hope you enjoy this mix!! whether you are out partying for new years or home alone for a quiet night in, i hope this mix can accompany you through those moments. the holidays can be tough. i wish that everyone out there is staying safe. wish you all the best of luck towards the new year, and may your whole year be full of bliss and inner peace.

UK born, Melbourne based DJ & Producer Rory Marshall has been shaking things up over the last few years with his unique style of techno infused house music and DJ sets. He’s no stranger from garnering support from international tastemakers such as Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, Anfisa Letyago, Maceo Plex & Rebuke, illustrated through his releases in the last few years. 

Rory released a slamming 5 Track EP “Late Night Specialist” on the legendary Carl Cox’s label (23rd Century), the first release from an artist other than Carl in 15 years. It peaked at #3 on the Beatport Techno Charts and boasts more than 250,000 streams on Spotify. 

With an arsenal of unreleased music coming out in the near future and plenty of shows locked in around Australia, make sure you catch Rory showcasing his very own style of late night music across 2021/22.
