I've been a fan of Perfume since my college years (the late 2000s), when I got my hands on their debut album, GAME.  A single from that album POLYRHYTHM would later go on to be used in the Disney movie CARS 2, exponentially increasing their popularity.

My favorite songs from them include LASER BEAM, DREAM FIGHTER, CLOCKWORK & CLING CLING.

This single, the opening track from their latest album NEBULA ROMANCE PART 1, came on as I was driving home from work.  As I listened, the cogs in my brain started spinning as I began to get ideas on how to configure this track to use in my sets.  I replayed the song again, arrived home, extracted the acapella and went to work.

It took me a couple weeks and a number of precise edits, but here is the result!

Nice to meet you. My name is Randy Derricott, an Autistic EDM DJ/producer & Pharmacy Tech based in Coral Springs, Florida (a suburb of Fort Lauderdale) by way of Richmond, Virginia.

Active since 2004, I mainly make & play Trance & Progressive House.  I also sometimes let my nerdy side show by playing what I call "Comicontronica" or EDM remixes/covers of songs from video games, anime & the like.

My adventures have had me perform at a number of venues throughout South Florida as well as some of the biggest conventions in the US, among which include Anime Iwai, Otakufest, MegaCon, Kirbiicon, Colossalcon Ohio & Ichibancon in North Carolina.

At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, I put making music on the backburner to focus on my DJing adventures, both on Twitch and, once things eased, live shows.  I've recently decided to jump back into the music making pool again.  While I do have a Soundcloud with music I made under a past alias, I've decided to make a brand new Soundcloud, since I'll be using my real name going forward.
