"The Mission" had its world premiere at the Telluride Film Festival and is the follow-up film from co-directing duo Amanda McBaine & Jesse Moss following their work on "Boys State." The documentary follows the story of John Allen Chau, an American missionary who attempted to make contact with one of the world's most isolated Indigenous peoples, the Sentinelese. The film has received positive reviews since its premiere and has positioned itself as a serious Best Documentary Feature Oscar contender by National Geographic Documentary Films. Amanda and Jesse were kind enough to spend some time talking with us about their work on the film, which you can listen to below. Still love to visit record stores & dig through bins of used records when i go on business trips. Recorded 100's of mixed tapes for classmates/friends and hours & hours in front of the turntables. Gugs Ranye (Gugs for short from Gugga), is an independent artist who writes, produces, mixes and performs his own music. Gugga, Meaning uncle in Nyikina. From Derby, North West Australia, Gugs Ranye ranges from backstreet boom baps to country folk-lore with grainy woke raps that carry meaning and purpose. He aspires to inspire his home town's youth to pursue Music as a means to express themselves in a creative way and put Derby, AKA "Blood City," on the map. Gugs Ranye is currently working on his debut 5 track EP, which will be released in mid 2025.

Carnival Of Thieves were formed by Andi Stevenson in December 1990 and come from Rotherham in the North of England. 

The music is a blend of Hard Rock, Stoner Rock & Seminal Punk also influenced by many sub genres of Rock from the late 60's onwards. So far we've released 4 albums. Our new album Den Of Thieves (ReVamped) was released to all online streaming services on Monday 4th April, 2021. It includes 15 songs plus 14 free bonus songs. We have plans to release it as a Double album on CD/Vinyl as soon as we have the budget for it. We are currently working on a new album called "Scallywags" which is about 75% completed and we will look to release this in July/August later this year.
