Award Winning Percussionist and former conguero for the world famed legendary Salsa Superstar Angel Canales,  Jose (Joe) Collado was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY of Puerto Rican decent. Joe attributes his unique Latin musical style to his life experiences and his musical upbringing thus producing 5 successful Latin Groove style CD's on his independent label. Originally a Motown lover and then witnessing the legendary NYC Salsa Fania musical groups and Superstar pioneers in Latin Rock such as Santana, Malo, and Chicago. Groups like the BeeGees, the Beatles, DLG, Micheal Jackson, Genesis, Bob Marley etc... were also influential in his musical upbringing.These legendary pioneers gave him a heart-full desire to express all those influences into his early instrumental musical training and development into his own creative Latin Groove Project style. Joe also contributes his life changing successes to his relocation from the hard streets of Brooklyn to Miami, FL. Giving Joe a new now guided opportunity to better himself as a person and allowing the discovery and use of his Multi-God given talents. Eventually joining forces with Salsa Legend Angel Canales Orchestra helped power Joe's own solo musical path. Joe was awarded Best Percussionist in Miami in 2009 just before releasing his first self made and recorded Bucket List Cd "Solo Joe". Its great success lead to numerous successful Cd.s till this day.... so enjoy!
