Notes: This was the 3rd of 5 performances of New Blue Sun at Big Ears Festival. This recording does suffer from some technical issues. The volume had to be boosted significantly and there are some left channel drop outs that had to be patched as "fake stereo". There were also some SD card write errors that caused some small drop outs where a few seconds of music are missing. There are about 15 drops outs/skips, roughly every 2 or 3 minutes, mostly in the back half. But it's better than nothing!

On November 16, 1990, the station's call sign were changed to WPNT-FM, branded as "100.3 The Point", and it began airing a hot adult contemporary format, playing hits of the 1980s and current product.The station was initially simulcast on 820 AM (which itself took the WPNT calls), but in early January 1991, its AM sister was taken off the air while its owner sold off that station and its transmitter site was re-located.
In 1994, Steve Cochran began hosting morning drive.
In 1996, Fred Winston replaced Cochran as morning host.

This is a song I wrote and recorded for a theatrical play called "A Number" which was performed at The Questors Theatre in Ealing (London, UK) recently.  The play was written by Caryl Churchill, and explores the concepts of human cloning and self identity. 
The play encourages consideration about the ethical, moral, social and psychological implications of human cloning, and what it means to be human. How much of our individual identity is directly tied to our uniqueness. Does it matter if we are created in identical cloned batches? Do we feel less human if we are physically identical to another person down to our DNA?
It's a very interesting and thought provoking play, and this is the theme song I created for it.
