But Wilby held a gentler plea—

Who clipped each bloom
To make it pure.
“Five petals only,” he declared,
“Too much, too many—
Must be repaired.”

He frowned at wind
And feared its ways,
Unsure if joy
Was something  to praise.
But Wilby saw the petals fall—
Each color bright, each shape a call.



Traveling through the countryside,
Where sameness tries 
To stem the tide,
She watched the petals lift and spin,
And saw the wisdom in the wind.
Though rules may march
With fear and pride,
The truth still breathes
In countryside.

She wore the stripes shake her chest,
Four arcs now glowing
With her quest.
Red, then orange, 
Then yellow, green—
The colors bright, Bilnot had seen.

A gust arose, and scattered wide,
The petals he had sought to hide.
And Wilby knew within her soul,
That even clipped,
The bloom stays whole.

Strict and ordered, 
Law at his command.
He strode into Bilnot’s garden,
Grand and green,
Eyes set on the tulip,
The one he would demean.

“Superstition!” he roared, 
“Defiance, a flaunt!”

He tore each petal with a taunt.
Five‑petal law,
The standard he upheld,
But in his fist, 
A purple bloom rebelled.

But love has light,
And love has hands,
That sow the seeds
Where hatred stands.
A kiss for the tulips,
A wish in the wind—
Where love is grown,
The heart will mend.

Wozner knelt down on the soil, gentle in his eyes,
He kissed the tulip, whispered hopes Across the skies.
No fear in his touch,
No demand in his voice,
His soft words of kindness,
Made his love a choice.

Petals lifted, petals danced,
Rooted in the land,
Dark‑purple tulips sprang
Despite royal command.
