Our aim is fourfold
To provide a fully accessible low cost hub with a focus on health and wellbeing which can be used by the local community and provide a focal point within the area where visitors and locals alike can gain information regarding recreational activity, cultural and social development.
To facilitate local recreational groups and providers by making available a professionally equipped environment for recreational coaches, leaders and users.
To maximize on the natural resources of Portaferry by creating space to grow the outdoor sports infrastructure with a particular focus on water sports and maritime activity.
To alleviate the feeling of isolation and deprivation of living in Portaferry.
