This summer i was so grateful and extremally excited to make my return to the castle, this time on the new an improved giant beast of a stage it has become. 
This is my most favorite festival and my most favorite stage and my 3rd time being asked to perform on it; so i knew i needed to make this one the MOST specialZ

This mix is all gas no breaks with tons of vocals and emotions.
It has dance breaks, the occasional dub drop, and some rowwwwdy tunes to GET DOWN to.

Emerging from the Calgary electronic scene, Kitzu has swiftly become a vibrant presence in the world of bass-driven beats. Specializing in a dynamic blend of Drum & Bass, 140 Dubstep, UK Garage, Bassline and Grime, her sets take listeners on a journey through deep basslines and groove-infused rhythms.

In just over a year behind the decks, Kitzu has captivated crowds at local shows and festivals like Freezer Burn and Emotion Music & Arts Festival. As a member of RunniT Productions and a co-founder of Bass Terra Collective—a femme community project—Kitzu is not only a skilled selector but also a passionate force driving inclusivity and representation in the scene. With a sharp ear for immersive soundscapes and an undeniable stage presence, she continues to carve out a unique space in the electronic music world, delivering unforgettable experiences wherever she plays.

Wearin’ black clothes and bustin’ mad flows, YEG-based J-Sound brings that bass to the DnB faithful.
After winning Western Canada’s biggest DJ competition — the Pioneer Mix Master Battle — in 2010, he’s opened for dozens of top 100 DJs and dished out his signature sound to thousands.
A mainstay at The Womp festival, as well as part of NABDnB, he’s also a substitute teacher at Sunday School, lending light to the darkness with pulse-pounding drum and bass.
Drawing off influences ranging from k motionz and phibes to culture shock, J-Sound shares his creative light through music, dance and laughter, producing an ear-pleasing mix of dark, heavy and dangerous.

Since his beginnings in 2001, Freddy J has been on a focused mission of constant development, moulding a unique style that is sure to deliver dancefloor mayhem. With twenty years as a leader of the scene, he has cemented himself as one of Canada’s premiere DJ’s.  
He never fails to bring the best bass-driven party funk possible, with a style that can be described as electro meets funky, dirty, whompy, groovy, bassline. Having headlined at a multitude of club and festival events, the experience Freddy J brings to the tables shines through and gets people moving on the dancefloor. 
2024 saw Freddy J open the Fractal Forest as part of his 14th appearance at Shambhala Music Festival, and once again he showed why he keeps getting invited back year after year... this is definitely one DJ you won’t want to miss!

Senior Citizenz is a DJ duo blending the creative forces of Riggs (Nathan Boudreau) and EPID3MIK (Marc Lung). 

With over twenty years on the decks, their sound is a fusion of House, Breaks, Garage, and Techno; with a dash of old school throwback flavour.

Those who have experienced the soundscape journey of Bass Panda know the energy that he brings to the dance floor. Capable of packing whatever space he is invited to, this uplifting deejay charges the crowd with his impeccable song selection and inspiring artistic integrity. The mastery of his sound sense allows him to seamlessly blend live saxophone performance through multiple genres, personal edits and mashups, tempo changes, and classics to create an incredibly unique audience experience.

Bass Panda has established himself well in the community through a solid and supportive fan base who make a point of being at his shows, and has also become well-recognized online, with his mixes having reached well over 350,000 listens. In addition to performing at FozzyFest for 7 years, he has also had numerous sets at Wicked Woods, Vibes, Motion Notion, Astral Harvest, and FreezerBurn. Earlier highlights include opening for Far Too Loud, The Librarian, LongWalkShortDock, and Balkan Bump.
