The Dirty formed during the explosion of the Garage Punk scene in London in 2002 feat. Kyrill Khieninson (Vocals), Marc Sallis (Guitar), Steve Donelan (Drums) & Howard Williams (Bass). Their debut single, 'Cinnamon', was released in 2003, followed by 'Thirteen Devils' in 2004. Both tracks featured on the band's 2003 self-titled debut album. Tricky's Brown Punk label reissued 'Cinnamon' under the title 'Why, I Think It's Love' in 2007 alongside  'I Want Something', which had also been previously released under the title, 'Take Me', on the band's 2003 album.
