Recent audition for Meridia from The Elder Scrolls (Mod Project)

As a filmmaker, I find it extremely frustrating to reach the heart of an audience. The process of writing, pre-production, production, post-production, festival runs, and distribution can take up to five years before anyone watches your creation. However, the process is much faster with music. Three guitar chords can make your heart stop. I haven’t released mixes for almost a decade now. And I’ve missed it so much. Each time I hear a track that resonates with me, I want to play with it, remix it, give it a new meaning, mood, or life. These ideas have been building up in my head for years. I can hear the voices calling me. 

Recently, during a period of depression earlier this year, I started crafting a mix. I took pieces of pop culture, obscure video game music, and more mainstream tunes, and created something unique. My goal was to transport listeners to a different place, make them think, or just fall in sleep faster. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it. I've always appreciated live-changing mixes from my favorite artists that tell a story and don't emphasize the newest or coolest music. If you enjoy my mix, please share it with others. It may introduce them to new genres and inspire them to explore new directions.
