What started out as a foray into acid house, became an entirely different beast. In the past, I've been known to take a tangent or two midway through electronic pieces, before learning how to reign myself back in, avoiding unnecessary complexity. Not with this one. My brain got a free pass for all the rides in the theme park. I'd describe it as controlled chaos. The key was crafting synergy throughout the framework, allowing cohesive progression. For a relatively slow bpm track, this has relentless momentum, despite various cool-down zones. It weaves through passages casting a nod to the likes of Aphex Twin, The Prodigy, and the later progressive house scene, as it builds to a riotous crescendo. For your twisted festival floor experience, or one to whack on at the after party.

Prolific UK-based producer, Frankie Alpha segues elements of house, techno and club sounds into crafted, technical productions which are equally at home on the dancefloor as the car stereo. With a sound that refuses to be confined to one genre, incorporating ambient, IDM and downtempo, Alpha weaves together sonic and visual storytelling, with artwork mirroring his approach to production: minimal yet expansive, structured yet open-ended.
Over the last year and a bit, Alpha has dropped a series of self-released colour coded singles ranging from the rolling house grooves on ‘My Energy My Salted Butter’ to the sonic gradient in 'The End Never Ends' - a horizon that never quite settles.
One part of alternative/indie duo, 'Dope Rooms', this multi-instrumentalist is a curious producer with a strong love for percussive, melodic grooves. Julio has been a familiar face in the Irish psytrance scene for years. Whether as a DJ or a promoter, he’s always ready to champion the psychedelic trance music that he loves!

His journey began in 2006 with a DJ course in his hometown in Brazil. For a few years, Julio varied his sets between electro and minimal, but everything changed after his first encounter with the psytrance culture at a festival in 2011. He instantly fell in love with the music, the people, and the whole vibe, diving headfirst into the world of faster BPMs.

Based in Dublin since 2014, he began organizing the indoor party 'Psychedelic Gaff' a few years later. His sets are all about groove, adapting to the crowd and time of day, with flawless transitions that keep the dance floor in a trance. He's always on the hunt for new tracks, exploring psytrance and its subgenres, making his sets an extension of his passion.

He’s had the chance to play at some incredible festivals, including Universo Paralello (Brazil), S.U.N. Festival (Hungary), Solar Seeds Transylvania (Romania), Fuinneamh (Ireland), Audio Garden (Ireland), Euphonics (Ireland), and United Tribes (Northern Ireland).

In 2023, Julio founded 'Gaff Records,' which launched its first release this year! With a love for music that knows no bounds and a knack for keeping the crowd moving, Julio’s journey promises to keep writing good stories.
