The apostle Paul, once an adamant critic and persecutor, became convinced of the truth of Christianity and gave three key defenses for it in Romans 1. These three defenses can give the Christian, when his or her "faith is seeking reason" (Anselm), great confidence and rest that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true!
