I'm so happy to share my piano performance of "Ito" by Miyuki Nakajima, a song with a message that moved me deeply.

The song speaks to the soul. Its title, "Ito," means "Thread," and its lyrics are built around a simple, beautiful metaphor: "The vertical thread is you, the horizontal thread is me." With these words, the song explores the grand journey of our lives. Sometimes we wander, we get lost, and we gather scars from chasing dreams, all while wondering what our purpose is in life.

The answer to that lies in connection. The fateful moment we meet the person we are destined to, and together, weave a story. That then offer warmth to the world and even mend the wounds of others.

This piece is full of emotion, and I've tried to pour all of that feeling into my piano arrangement. Playing it felt like telling that story through this music.

中島みゆきさんの「糸」、ピアノで弾いてみました。この曲のメッセージがすごく心に響いて、みんなにも聴いてもらえたら嬉しいな。

この曲、心にグッとくるんだ。タイトルの「糸」の通り、歌詞は「縦の糸はあなた、横の糸は私」っていう、シンプルで綺麗な例えなんだよね。この言葉が、私たちの大きな人生の旅を表してるんだ。時々、私たちは迷ったり、夢を追いかけて傷ついたりしながら、自分の人生の意味って何だろうって探してる。

その答えは、人との繋がりにあるんだと思う。運命の人と出会って、一緒に物語を作っていく瞬間。そうしてできたものが、世界を温かくしたり、誰かの傷を癒したりもするんだ。

この曲はすごく感情的で、その気持ちを全部ピアノアレンジに込めてみたよ。弾いてる時、音楽でこの物語を伝えてるみたいな気持ちになったんだ。
