another soul sampled earl sweatshirt type song for the rap lyricist fans. repeat it, repeat it, you might catch different word play each time on this vinyl track. if you listen close, you can hear bars and words that tie in with each other in a very old school type of rap way; simultaneously twisting in a new unique rap sound. spitting bars with full blown stamina, yet adding very brief moments of summer ray sunshine melody for the lovers. you can play this hip hop track to chill and kickback too on a warm evening drive, or when getting lost on your own road map with a bag of weed. repeat it. overthinking the egyptian pyramids? repeat it. Jersey City mixtape dj, Semaj da Dj is renowned for his unique style of blending, mixing, and mash-ups of Hip Hop & R&B.

•   Inspired by local DJs and the Jersey City style of mixing and combining music. Having a love for music creation, he created his own record label “T-O-M Digital Productions” in 1998.
•   By 2006 Semaj’s mixtape releases soon became popular all over the country, being played on radio stations, boom boxes, ringtones, and other platforms. His talent was recognized by a local film artist who featured him in the “Jersey City DJ’s” documentary, which followed his success with his viral mix titled “Jersey City Mix”.
•   As a result of his rise to fame, Semaj was approached by a mixtape distributor who provided him with even greater exposure throughout different states. His accomplishments in the industry led to his nomination for “Best Blend/Remix DJ of The Year” at the 2017 All Star Mixtape Awards, after following up his 2015 nomination as well.
•   Today, Semaj da Dj is a well-known personality in the music industry, hosting major events for companies such as Jimmy Jazz and entertaining audiences worldwide. He has come a long way since his humble beginnings and continues to inspire and captivate audiences with his unique style of music.

My musical journey started back in the late 90's, i was flat out into trance, spinning vinyl and burning up the wheels of steel. I spent my mid to late twenties in London when funky house music was alive and thumping. I got to play at some wicked bars and sweat dripping house parties with some incredible people. Now days, it's spinning tunes across multiple genres. Whilst trance is still right up there, I've spread my wings into progressive trance, tech house, techno, jive / disco / funky / groove / progressive house.  Love a dark dirty solid bass beat ranging between 120bpm through to 145bpm. That's the sweet spot 🤙Now living in New Zealand and always up for a gig with like minded people!
