Peter & Moritz, who form Thys & Taylor, have been DJing together for six years. Peter is from Belgium and lives in Frankfurt am Main since 2019, but first moved to Marburg in 2011. There he met Moritz, who in turn has lived in Marburg since he was born. When those two got to know each other and discovered their common passion for music, Moritz already was part of the collective ‘Marbylon’. 
Marbylon at that time was well known for its club parties and open air raves in nearby forests that Peter & Moritz helped to organize.
When the two started playing together six years ago, Peter’s first idea was to play Drum ‘n‘ Bass. But it quickly showed, that Peter & Moritz were based in Techno. Nowadays, their sound moves between House, Deep House, Tech House and Melodic Techno. Basically everything that counts as Techno and sounds great to them is included in their Dj sets.
In addition to Thys & Taylor, the two also manage the podcast site ‘Tonspuren’ (German for ‘soundtrack’). On this Soundcloud website, they present DJ sets of befriended artists from their musical network. In 2016 they took part in a DJ contest of ‘Jeden Tag ein Set’ and scored first place. 
They were rewarded with a gig on the main stage of the ‘Burning Beach Festival’ in Nuremberg( Germany). One year later, in 2017, they won the contest of the ‘Panama Open Air’ festival in Bonn (Germany), where they were also allowed to play on stage. According to them, they had their best gig at the ‘Aftrsun Festival’ in Belgium. The time spent in clubs and on festivals to them simply is a time to rebalance among friends and culture.
