Existence is the darkest, most chilling track on Timeless, a song where death itself speaks directly to the listener. It blurs the lines between dream and reality, life and death, forcing the question: Are you even alive, or have you been dead all along?

The song doesn’t just talk about death—it embodies it. The opening whispers feel like a cold breath on the back of the listener’s neck, questioning everything they believe to be real. The unsettling thought lingers: If you died in your sleep, how do you know you ever woke up? From the first note, Existence removes any sense of safety.

Lyrically, the song depicts time and death as inescapable forces. Every breath is stolen. Every moment is borrowed. Death doesn’t chase—it waits, knowing that everyone will eventually fall into its hands. The song builds into an aggressive, chaotic storm, using stutter effects to mimic a glitch in reality, making the listener feel trapped in a distorted nightmare.

The second verse deepens the paranoia. Are memories even real? Or are they just the echoes of a past self that is already rotting? The song dismantles the illusion of control, proving that no one outruns time—every step you take is already mine. The chorus grows more unstable, as if time itself is breaking apart.

The bridge shifts reality entirely, using cryptic, whispered questions to unsettle the listener. Close your eyes, do you see the light? Open them again, are you sure you're right? These moments make the listener second-guess their own existence in real-time, forcing them to question if they are awake, dreaming, or somewhere in between.

By the final chorus, the voice of death no longer hides—it is absolute, it is certain, it is inevitable. Death is not an enemy, not a punishment. It simply is. The song ends just as it began, whispering the same haunting question: Are you awake? Or are you dreaming? And in the end, it doesn’t matter. Because death is waiting either way.
