We talked about his Neil MacArthur recordings and his trio of early 70s solo records: One Year, Ennismore and Journey. Colin was a great interviewee and I must admit that I was absolutely thrilled to be talking to him about his records because I'm such a huge fan. He was really gracious with his time and was happy to chat about the recording of Odessey and Oracle, working with arranger Chris Dunning, his working relationship with Rod Argent and his (then) latest record The Ghost of You And Me.

Colin talks about the amazing history of the band--including how they broke up just before releasing their biggest hit, "Time of the Season". Colin also talks about the band reformation, their classic 1968 album "Odessey and Oracle, and about his own successful solo work. He also talks very candidly about his long partnership with Rod Argent--who has officially retired from live performances due to his health. Colin, on the other hand, continues to perform (both with The Zombies and as a solo performer). In fact, in November, he'll be performing his wonderful 1971 debut solo album "One Year" in its entirety. He'll also be performing the Zombies first album 1965's "Begin Here" in its entirety!
