As the name implies, this mod aims to improve the vanilla traits, talents, and character systems from the slightly bland original version into something a bit more robust and substantial. It adds new traits and a dynamic skill system for generals and provincial governors, as well as completely refurbished and more faction-specific Cursus Honorum rankings and Army Traditions.


I would not call this mod essential because Rome II already features a massive number of playable factions, even without DLC. This mod takes it many steps further by unlocking every single nation and giving them fairly unique traits.
This mod is further enhanced by the various unit packs by Radious, which work well with this mod, giving the previously unplayable factions a much more diverse and varied roster.


Factions leaders have an overall effect on various aspects of your faction. These can be found in the faction overview screen. What type of effect the leader has is based on his traits. Effects include public order, and empire maintenance among others.

To the peculiar quietude of manner, and characteristic gentleness of persons of fashion, in their intercourse with each other, we have many concurring testimonies of impartial observers: of these, the most just at once, and eloquent, that we remember to have read, is that contained in an ever-memorable letter from a Mr Tomkins to a Mrs Jenkins, attributed (with what justice, deponent knoweth not) to a noble and learned lord, supreme in natural theology and excitability, remarkable for versatile nose and talents, and distinguished for chequered fortunes, and "inexpressibles" to match.
