2024 Year End Mix

Hey everyone, this is my first mixtape—hope you like it!

Here’s a bit of background:
I recorded this at my place in Warsaw while on Erasmus, using my FLX-4. Most of it was recorded while listening through headphones because my portable speaker isn’t great. I try to pay close attention to subtle sounds during my mixing.

I’ve been obsessed with music since I was a kid, and in the summer of 2024, I started my DJ journey.
Recently, I feel like I’ve found my style. My main inspirations are Four Tet, Tom VR, OkGiorgio, Fred Again, FC Kahuna, Jeigo, and other electronic/organic artists.
I enjoy switching between minimal/deep techno and other genres to keep the energy flowing and avoid being too monotonous.

A big thanks to all my friends who keep motivating me and pushed me to create this first mixtape after my first two gigs.

Endless Summer

Constantly struggling between discovering new music and listening to those I liked🎵

Inspired by the boundary-pushing artistry of Four Tet and his progressive yet simple style of mixing, I embarked on my DJ journey just one year ago, diving deep into the hypnotic realms of microhouse, minimal, and organic techno. My sets are a carefully curated journey that blends these core genres with unexpected textures and rhythms to keep the energy fresh, dynamic, and far from monotonous.
Every mix is a reflection of my love for discovery, designed to transport listeners to new sonic landscapes while paying homage to the tracks that move me.
Whether it’s an intimate club setting or an open-air dancefloor, my goal is to bring you on an energy journey.

Originally from Ieper in Belgium and currently based in Ghent, Kairos has been extending his reach over the national scene for the past few years. Eclectic, fluid, and ethereal can describe a good part of his artistic identity through his storytelling track selection and the events he organizes with his collective Umtzi Bumtzi.

With a personal music taste that’s as diverse as his DJ sets, Kairos blends his ever growing collection of records seamlessly between genres, bpms, and general atmosphere while keeping the mix cohesive and groovy between each flip.

Having played at DOUR Festival, Doel Festival, Funke, Fuse, LLOSS Festival, Chinastraat and Kiosk Radio, Kairos applies himself not only for his own sets, but to invite and promote artists in the events he organizes as well. Increasingly requested behind the decks of late, Kairos’s quality and passion is found in his ability to adapt and exchange with different crowds.
