Hey there, everyone! This is a remix of Nue Houjuu's theme "Heian Alien".

The original track comes from the game Touhou 12 and it has pretty catchy melody. I wanted to maintain the impact of the theme from the game's soundtrack. That's why I decided to stick to the electro genre while mixing in a bit of hardstyle.

Nue gives off a mysterious vibe and so does her theme. I think that the atmosphere of the track describes her pretty well. Also, shout out to SkyPyoro for the artwork.

【東方Electro／Hardstyle】Heian Alien (Thysis Remix)

I always liked Ichirin's original theme from the game she debuted in, so I thought, "Why not give remixing it a try in the style of my most recent music project?" So I did.
If plans go accordingly, there will be a 2nd version of this, so stay tuned! ;)


I'm currently uploading my most recent music album "Money's Power" (MP) to Newgrounds. It's actually a big project with 38 tracks in total and I plan to upload it here, too, SOMEday. For now, though, have this remix! ♪

MP-Remix of Ichirin Kumoi's theme (TH12, full version)

This is the 2nd version of my remix for Ichirin's theme. ♪


The concept for my music project "Money's Power" (and remixes in its style) is inspired by the soundtrack from the 13th Touhou game, where most of the tracks have a second 'trance mode version'. More bass and rapid single notes to accentuate the key and foundation for the melodies, less emphasis on drums/percussion.

The idea I had was this: if the music from my project was bgm for a versus-shooter-game, like Touhou 9/19, the player could collect "money items" while the boss fight goes on. Collecting those fills a meter/gauge, when filled, the gauge can be used to temporarily (like, 10 seconds) transform the screen into a cyberspace-esque environment, where movements and bullets are faster and the patterns more dense -- for the opponent. Idk how a concept like this would do, but I find it intriguing at least. And musically definitely interesting enough to try this concept. =)
