Trolley wheels hum under a small crowd
Players lift their voices into the blue
Trumpet bright, clarinet smooth, trombone steady
Sidewalks open to dancers and wanderers
The old street lamp glows as the city finds its tune

We parade and bring the street alive

Brass echoes down Royal Street with laughter near
Children spin beneath the soft willow shade
Banjo rings, bass drum thuds, rhythm moves free
Night and day blend and the air turns to music
Lantern light glints on shoes as beads fall and roll
We hold our story in every beat
Horns fade into sunrise and the city wakes
