When Sandy Denny wasn't writing about travellers she was writing about the sea and in this cheery piece she does both at once. A jaunty open road song that seems to have been written on sea-spray and in the open air, as suggested in our arrangement and the film. I borrowed the harp for the psychedelic bridge from a fellow traveller.

In this episode, Shirley guides us through the unique customs and rituals surrounding dying, death, and bereavement within the Traveller community. We’ll hear how these traditions shape experiences of loss, and why understanding and respecting them is so important—especially in healthcare settings, where cultural understanding can make all the difference.
