Depuis octobre 2019, le Liban traverse une crise économique dont il ne se remet pas. La pandémie de Covid-19 n’arrange rien à la situation et l’explosion sur le port de Beyrouth en août dernier plonge le pays dans une crise politique. 

Aujourd’hui le pays sombre dans une forte crise sociale et les libanais ne voient pas le bout du tunnel. Sans gouvernement depuis plus de 6 mois, le pays est le terrain de jeu d’une élite politique corrompus, et devient une monnaie d’échange à l’internationale. 

Qu’est-ce qui pourrait permettre au Liban de sortir la tête de l’eau ? Quand est-ce que j’y retourne et qu’est-ce que je vais y trouver ?

Tripoli the Beauty (in spite of the noise) is a musical composition by the Libyan artists Hisham Errish. This piece was composed during ongoing clashes in the city of Tripoli in 2018. The intention is to illustrate that music can fix what politics ruins.

هشام عريش هو عازف عود ليبي من مواليد ليبيا عام 1980 حاصل على بكالوريوس من المعهد العالي لتكنولوجيا الفنون.

ألف العديد من القطع الموسيقية التي يظهر فيها ارثه الثقافي المستوحى من بلده ومن أصوله الشمال إفريقية، ومن ثقافات البلدان الأخرى.  

لا يزال عضواً في بيت العود العربي في القاهرة.

Hisham Errish is a Libyan musician and an Oud soloist born in 1980. He has a BA in Music.
Influenced by his father, he started playing Oud at the age of 12.

His Musical compositions are influenced by his cultural heritage of his North African roots, and the surrounding cultures of other nations.

He is currently a member of Bayt al Oud institute in Cairo, Egypt.

The emphasis is on the role of music as the gravity around a media ecosystem of education, entertainment, and research. Your body and environment are music. Please visit our channels posted below in profile.
