you might be wondering why i used a lite bank instead of one of my full ones
this cover was made for Kazumi's 15th Vocal Synth Contest, and the theme is to cover a song from any diva/mirai game with the free version of a paid vocal synth, so i chose maki lite
i didnt expect to like her as much as i did but she sounds so good
mixing this was expectedly hell, but i like how it turned out
i also lowered the key to -4 for it to fit her range and i like how it sounds

Found favor with Yamaha YM2608/​OPNA FM-synth chip (found in high-end NEC PC-9801 & -9821 💻 that once dominated the 🇯🇵 domestic market) because of the relative ease of composing/​arranging ♪ for it and for its ability to mix FM/​PSG/​PCM 🔊 paradigms in a well-balanced fashion. Chose PMD98 by KAJA as the preferred compiler for making OPNA ♪ evocative of both “PC-98”, arcade, & Sega MegaDrive/​Genesis systems.
