dj Refractus (Treetrolla Rec) presents "Alluring Portal" introduction dj-set 2024.

This is an exclusive mix by RAKASA, a dark psychedelic trance music project by Dean Baschnagel, originally from Israel, now based in Berlin. With roots in heavy metal, reggae, and dubstep, the turn to the psychedelic world happened when Dean was 18, after attending his first psychedelic rave in the forests of north Israel. The Rakasa project came to life around 2019 and is continuing to develop and grow with each passing day. The project focuses on dark atmospheric vibes combining with aggressive electric sounds, mixing forest with technology to create a dark psychedelic organic salad that is spiritual and energetic, straight from Dean’s studio in Berlin to your ears. The live set features fresh and unreleased darkpsy /forest music from Rakasa, including tracks from the upcoming EP - ‘Conjuring Inner Chaos’ (coming soon on Hekwapi Records) along with previously released music.

Dj Vaska, also known as Vasyl Sagaidak, began his journey into the world of psychedelic musical metamorphoses in 2001. This acquaintance started his passion for computers, synthesizers, and music sound design. A few years later there were the first performances as a DJ, and then the first releases. In 2008, Vasyl founded his own label named “Treetrolla Records”, which he still manages to this day. In the fall of 2023 he became part of Funky Freaks Records to represent it as label DJ. He has also released a small number of his own tracks over the years under various aliases. Certain research into sound and its influence on consciousness is still ongoing in his “Skogarna” and “Lookomoria” projects.

Onur Pekinöz aka PACK was born in Istanbul. He started mixing tracks as a Dj at 2010. By that time he was playing house / techno. Psytrance was calling him so hard and he started play psytrance in 2013. Since then he played at almost all indoor psytrance parties in Istanbul. In 2014-2019 summers he was in the line up at all outdoor festivals in Turkey. He continues him career on the Asia Continent right now. He plays progressive psytrance and twilight as well as psydub as a resident DJ at Crystal Kids and BMSS Records.
