Sunny Suzuki is a small 16 year old, indie hip hop and rap artist/producer out of Birkenhead, local to Liverpool. Known for his interesting and complex interludes and stories, combined with his simple and emotion filled beats and his unique style and clothing choices, Sunny’s small but meaningful discography has pushed against UK Hip-Hop’s boundaries, and what can be done by child artists.

At the age of 15, Sunny released his first mixtape, “The Blue Tape.” which was well received by local artists and collaborators of his, as his first year or so making beats had truly hit the spotlight, and made him into a family celebrity.

Soon after this, Sunny released "TRASHHEEP" a small mixtape about life in Britain and to further showcase his music skills and creation overall, using the tools he now has started to master, whilst also adding even deeper meanings and inspirations from other artists, and people that have influenced his life and growth as both a human being, and as a producer. 


As a small indie artist, Sunny has attempted to create interesting, spiritually rich and creative beats that represent his life experience, and the styles of many of his favourite artists, the most notable being Kanye West, Tyler The Creator, Kendrick Lamar, Mac Miller, Frank Ocean and Joey Bada$$, along with his upbringing and experiences with life in general. 

Much like Kanye West or Kendrick Lamar, the style and evolution of Suzuki’s music has stayed constant, but with changes of style, influences and type, the public discography and unreleased mixtapes of Sunny’s has become an unique blend of multiple hip-hop and rap styles, inspired by artists, and their representations of music within their albums. A good example of this would be “Flower Boy” by Tyler The Creator, which remains as Sunny’s most important and favourite album of all time, which constantly is referenced, referred and inspired by, in all of Sunny’s projects thus far, and his style, mentality and sampling/narrative style, have followed the direction that this album set out for him.

As the rollout and development of new projects persist, time will tell if Sunny’s work will be praised on a global scale, as he continues to produce music and beats for a small but loyal and close audience of family and friends.

Currently, Sunny’s newest project and goal, is mostly beat recreation, as well as some songs that will eventually host his vocals.

Shavozo nascido e criado na periferia de Guarulhos (SP), Produtor Musical, Host, A&R e DJ a mais de 16 anos, movimentando a MEPB - Música Eletrônica Periférica Brasileira desde 2012.

Em 2015, Shavozo criou o projeto "OS BR's [Mixtape]", que tinha como objetivo divulgar artistas da MEPB de diferentes partes do Brasil, conectando-os entre si.

Já em 2016, ele fundou seu próprio chart/gravadora/selo @seloshavozorecords 🔑 no qual compartilhou mensalmente playlists com muitos lançamentos, frutos de sua pesquisa musical relacionada a todo o movimento da MEPB. 

Em 2017, Shavozo recebeu o convite para trabalhar com Pabllo Vittar e sua equipe Brabo Music Team, juntamente com a Sony Music Brasil. Ele assinou a curadoria completa do álbum oficial "Vai Passar Mal Remixes [2017]", trazendo muitos produtores da MEPB para realizar uma releitura de cada faixa. Desde então, Shavozo trabalhou em outros álbuns de Vittar, como "Não Para Não [2018]" onde descobriu "Problema Seu" uma das faixas single do álbum, onde alcançou milhões de reproduções nas plataformas digitais e também em "111 [2020]", além de ter realizado curadorias para outros artistas, como Alice Caymmi, MC Lan e Ruxell.

Em 2020, Shavozo apresentou o podcast original Spotify "No Passinho do Funk" em parceria com a @kondzilla, o maior canal de música do mundo. Ele também foi repórter oficial do Bloco da KondZilla 2020 e iniciou seu próprio podcast @eopoderdograve, onde entrevista artistas que conheceu em suas pesquisas, em um bate-papo descontraído sobre suas carreiras. Além disso, fundou a empresa @55hz_co ao lado de @flyingbuffmusic e @ruxellnobeat, que hoje atua na criação de conteúdo no mercado da música e entretenimento, com foco em propagar a MEPB.

Em 2021, ao lado de @pheaterz, Shavozo fundou um servidor no Discord que reúne mais de 400 produtores musicais de todo o Brasil. Essa iniciativa permitiu a criação do Portal @mepbportal, um portal de notícias totalmente dedicado a MEPB.

Em 2023, ao lado de @djzegon, Shavozo levou a MEPB para a Rede Globo 🌐 no programa No Limite, selecionando a trilha sonora da volta do reality feito na Amazônia, a proposta do projeto era levar a energia forte, motivação, garra nas músicas escolhidas, assim conseguindo dar mais visibilidade a Música Eletrônica Popular, Preta, Periférica e Plural na maior rede de televisão do Brasil.

Em 2024, após sua apresentação no evento Submundo 808, em São Paulo, os vídeos do seu show viralizaram no TikTok, alcançando milhões de visualizações. Com isso, seu trabalho ganhou ainda mais visibilidade, atraindo novos fãs para suas redes sociais e aumentando sua base de ouvintes. Atualmente, Shavozo acumula mais de 65 mil seguidores somados no TikTok e Instagram, com mais de 13 Milhões de visualizações em seus vídeos no TikTok, além de ultrapassar 2,5 milhões de reproduções em suas músicas e sets nas plataformas digitais.

Já se apresentou ao lado de grandes nomes da Música Eletrônica Internacional e Nacional como: Skrillex, Major Lazer, Diplo, Ape Drums, Walshy Fire, GTA, Tropkillaz, Heavy Baile, Mulú, Ruxell, Flying Buff, Deekapz e Mu540, também em muitas festas no circuito da MEPB no Brasil, como em algumas edições das festas Arrastão, Invdrs, I Hate Mondays, Baile do Sydney, After Lollapalooza, Tropkillaz On AiR, Bloco do Tropkillaz, Baile da Brum, Subtropikal Festival, Caos Campinas, Underbaile, Submundo 808, Ritmixta Festival entre outras. Além de se apresentar em duas rádios de grande alcance: KPFK 90.7 FM em Los Angeles (USA), e a Rádio Mix Rio 102.1 FM no Rio de Janeiro, representando a MEPB em uma das maiores rádios do Brasil.
