Yesterday was a bad day for radio, as a large radio company executed a significant number of layoffs across its 250 radio stations, in major markets, and for what appears to be only to appease its share holders. Monty & Jake talk about why they do not work in radio and wonder how long talk radio is viable for those working in the industry.

The UC Board of Regents did absolutely nothing regarding UCLA to the BIG 10 yesterday, and pushed any action to their special meeting in December. Meanwhile, it appears that PAC 12 Commissioner George Kliavkoff has been caught in a campaign of dishonesty and misinformation to damage UCLA to the BIG 10, with UCLA providing significant data and information that shows there will be far less financial impact, as well as travel impact on UCLA student athletes.
