The first part of a massive set all in tribute to Boy Harsher's Careful album. I mix each track from the album into its own mini-set, one can stand on its own or exists within the whole mix. Each a stanza in a love letter to an album that has shaped so much of me since its release in 2019. 

The brooding tone of Keep Driving - I wanted to Juxtapose against the hopeful, playful, grounded tone of new age. That juxtaposition driven home with the UK Rap/Hip Hop beats.

My alarm for years. It needs no introduction, but I wanted play with fire on this part of the mix by using the fire of UK hiphop artists like Stormzy, Headie One, EsDeeKid but playing them with house to face the fire with.

Amateur at making my own music.  

When I was young I studied Indian classical vocals and harmonium.  Then my voice broke and relearned everything, but it had dented my enthusiasm being a young teen. 

Now at an older age I am trying to find myself and see what makes me tick.  I found a way to make music using technology, which I didn’t have at my disposal when I was young.  

I am loving what I am making, just for me the excitement and drive to do something different with sound and beat.  I am now drawing inspiration from Indian classical music and my roots to Tanzania, East Africa.
