Tryna change my ways, get this weight off my chest
Thought life would be the best, but now I’m anxious and stressed
Laying in bed, I feel so depressed
I let the fame and money all get to my head
People don’t listen, it makes me feel so insane
It got to my brain, the stress made me feel deranged
I tried to talk to others, they didn’t get my pain

So much stress I can’t even go to bed
Foggy red thoughts always seem to fill my head
I think they’ll stay with me until I’m dead
When I think of my career my tears shed
All of my thoughts are way out of range
Now I feel like I’m a foreign exchange
Now I am filled with depression and rage

All of these changes as the days pass by
Everythings different, and I’m not sure why
Anxious and all, it makes me cry
I wish I had a different life, I can’t even lie
But maybe the changes are for the best
So I’m not always all paranoid and stressed
Feels like popularity has been one big test
And I think I failed, I need to take a rest

Changing and winging, every situation
Every day it feels like I need a vacation
I need a change, I need a translation
How do I solve this? I need some information
Change is what keeps us alive and going

Where will it take us? There's no way of knowing
I guess we’ll just keep changing and growing.

From the pain I have to endure

Uh, now I’m better
I’m no longer followed by all this rainy weather
Thought the depression and stress would stick forever
Throughout the ups and downs, I’ve been better than ever
Even if I’m not 100 percent happy
At least I took the time to go and work on me
And at least now I have the time to see
Tryna get better is all you really need

Through all the stress and anxiety
I had to change my ways calm down with some tea
The sadness and badness affected me
In the dark, I never thought I would be free
Then I decided to work on myself side
Got a therapist and upped my mental health
Sure, I know we’ll never be covered in wealth
Now I can finally take these pills of my shelf

There was a point where I didn’t think I would
I was embarrassed, covering my face with a hood
Thought I’d never leave my house, but now I think I should
I spent all day trying to not cry
I felt so lost, I might as well have died
Thought the fans would love me for all of my fire lines
But the paparazzi caught me, made me feel so stressed inside

I used to think I was down and out
I used to spend all day to pout
I took hold of my life and a different route
Now I realize it’s more than just the clout
I used to think it was all about trips and flights
To different places, luxurious weather
I now realize it isn’t quite
But it’s been okay ever since I’ve been better

I finally broke free, I can work on me
I can go outside and not worry ‘bout being seen
I had so much stress, I would always make a scene
But now I feel better, and I’m sure that some agree
That it’s a long journey to finally be at peace
But now there’s no worries about stress and anxiety
So you can stop hiding, from responsibility
Take control of your life, and be the best you can be

When I broke free, I finally started to see
It is and never was all about money
I had to choose between health and legacy
It was all Better with months of therapy
All I did was have to learn
It turns out I didn’t have to burn
I want to make music to it I yearn
I have to look away from my past, just gotta turn

I felt like I was stuck in some sort of prison
My skills, my talent, they all felt hidden
‘Cause everyone told me to do all of the main trends
I couldn’t be creative, felt like my skills were suppressed
It made me so depressed, it had me so stressed
I had to do what’s popular, and not what’s the best
I had to take a rest, some time to work on me
Was stuck in a cage, but then I broke free

People all around telling me what to do
But I see now those people don’t have a clue
You see, to do well you can’t pick and choose
You can only do what’s right for you
Why do these people try to rule me
Just go get a life, don’t be trying to school me
If this happens enough, I might just sue see
Don’t turn this thing into an emergency

When I broke free, I finally started to see
It is and never was all about money
I had to choose between health and legacy
It was all better with months of therapy
All I did was have to learn
It turns out I didn’t have to burn
I want to make music to it I yearn
