Hi peeps, here's my 80's Breaks mix that the guys at House Music Collective kindly asked me to do. This is my selection of early Breaks, Uptempo Hip Hop, Electro and Hip House. There's a fine line between a lot of these genre's & this is my interpretation of what I call early Breaks influences. Some of the edits are more recent than the originals, but I used them as the quality was much better and they were quite true to the original recordings. I hope you enjoy this mix as much as I did making it, it really took me back to my B-boy faze before I got into Electro, then House.

I've been DJing since 1985 and play a range of styles Old Skool, Breaks, all things House, Balearic etc. I love making my own edits and remixes, especially old skool. I ran & still run numerous club nights. Played at some amazing clubs and outdoor parties throughout Europe & Asia and was heavily involved in the U.K rave/free party scene and hugely inspired by D.i.Y and their ethos of parties/music. I also used to run a label & dance record shop in the 90's. I recently won the Sasha classics FB group DJ  competition and supported Ian Ossia and DJ Vertigo in Leicester/Manchester.
