I first became aware of this weeks guest maybe 3 years ago? I heard there was this guy playing festivals in central Florida and  he mixed like a maniac.....Like A.M.C (it turns out John is fucking bananas🍌 🍌🍌on the decks) I got to see him at the  first Cybefunx hosted by Deejay Zion in Orlando. He smoked the place! Since then I have had the pleasure of getting to see him a few more times and even play a few events with him. John is the best!!!! Special human right here... Total vibe. The first time I became aware of Nate( Souljunk), he was doing a dnb set at a waterpark and I remember thinking how awesome it would be to DJ at a waterpark and eat free hotdogs all day....I still daydream about it sometimes.  That was 3 or 4 years ago now? The time is flying. Since then I talk to Nate pretty often and I've become a fan of his music and him as a human. He's a total vibe.The last time he was in Orlando I got to meet his friend Parker (Raydium) and can confirm, also a good human and a vibe when they came to play for Claudia and the Introspective crew. They tore the place to shreds. Intro was packed!  Everyone had a wicked time. These two just finished their first American tour and they write music and DJ a lot together quite a bit  now. Of all the years, 2025 has been one of them...

Musically, it's been a period of refreshment, reflection, and shifting perspectives. Living here in Glasgow for the past year and everything that's done to and for me, I can't help but reflect on the past that built me into who I am. These tunes I've taken a crack at reworking all reflect certain moments of my life, some of which are more significant to me now than they were at the time. 

Each edit is my effort to capture these feelings and translate them into drum & bass. There's so much crossover between hip-hop & dnb that hasn't yet been explored, and I am constantly driven by the need to fuse the two. Not because no one has, but because no one has like me (there's that hip-hop bravado).

Anyway, on the technical side of things, the usual process of finding the original samples, recreating the loops, and dropping in bits of the vocal to taste 🥘
