Creating 'Maraviglia Pt. 2' was a unique journey - it took eight iterations to refine and countless challenges in achieving the exact blend of musical textures I envisioned. The mixing phase was particularly demanding, but I'm quite fond of the final crescendo; it perfectly captures the impending doom. I hope you can feel the fall of the Emperor's Children through this piece. I'd love to hear your thoughts!

00:00 Intro
00:07 Coraline Aseneca's voice starts changing, and the atmosphere begins to darken. The musicians seem to be seized by a frenzy and start using their instruments in a strange, unexpected way that changes the melody.
00:27 Everything turns black, and a warp rift starts to appear and open while thunderous music with a primitive rhythm continues.
00:41 Something tries to emerge from the rift, and the musicians begin to get agitated, as if something wants to come out of their bodies.
00:56 Aberrations start coming out of the rift to the rhythm of the impulses given by the music. The first musician dies screaming, and his voice resonates abnormally.
01:07 The abominations continue to emerge from the rift, and the other musicians get killed. We hear their torment.
01:25 Final vocal choir and summoning of demons fully done.
02:07 Desolation is here. Slaanesh has succeeded in introducing his minions, and the grand plan is underway. The fate of the legion is now at stake as everyone in the audience is spellbound and ready to follow the warp.
02:19 Time stops, everyone is frozen and watches the scene unfold in slow motion. Bequa is killed by Coralina, who has been transformed into a daemonette. The music has forever transformed the audience. The point of no return has been reached. Everyone applauds and will sink into darkness forever, killing each other. Astartes against human, Astartes against Astartes, and Fulgrim will watch them laughing.
03:04 Evil seeps into every cell of the audience, turning them into animals while the few sane people try in vain to flee the Phoenician theater.
03:21 The massacre begins. Depravity, bestiality, and the worst vices of humanity infect the audience, and they joyfully kill each other, feeling pure pleasure thanks to the sound of the visceral and vicious music.
03:43 The end of the Emperor's Children, forever affected, tainted by chaos, fallen sons of the Emperor.

Notes : I've made a deliberate choice to approach this piece musically, opting for imagination-stirring sounds over the darker, more explicit ambience directly from the book. I felt a direct portrayal would be too grim and not convey the right spirit of the music I aim to create. This decision, made quite late in the process, meant reshaping the latter half of the track to avoid a minute of grim sounds. I believe music has more to offer, and I hope this choice resonates with you.
