I am the Ruiner, known as Angel Enemy. Angel is my birth name, while Enemy is a moniker given to me by local gang members. In their words, "That's Enemy because no one's on his side." I was born in Hemet but grew up in Moreno Valley, a suburb of Riverside, in the Greater Los Angeles region of California, also known as the Inland Empire, the nexus of the world entertainment industry. This is part of my story.

1994 was pivotal. At just twelve, I immersed myself in DJing, realizing I didn’t experience the stage fright that many others did. As Deep House and Latin House ascended, they evolved into LA/Chicago Hard House. During this time, I aligned myself with a party crew named Afterlife, where I forged a bond with Misery, one of the founders who became a big brother figure to me. He even let me close our club in Riverside with hardcore sets a couple of times—a great way to make everyone leave. Hardcore became not just a genre but a core part of my identity.

From 1994 to 1997, thanks to Ron D Core sending me 12” records COD, my collection exploded. This era witnessed the rise of Terror and the formalization of Speedcore (now having its name!), as the rave scene took hold worldwide. DJ Tron and Delta-9 became my DJ idols, alongside artists like Disciples of Annihilation and Industrial Terror Squad. By 1997/1998, I was determined to delve into music production by any means necessary. Give me a cooking pan and a microphone, and I was ready to create. I met lifelong friends like Dr. Klaw, Dynasty, Diskore, and later Nicole, Rob Res, K-0s, Novokain, Abhorrent, Baseck, Minion, Slyten, and Onslaught. These friendships laid the foundation for what Angel Enemy would ultimately represent—not just a DJ, but a true expression of my artistry in its final form if I could ever allow it.

Though many gravitated towards my musical interests, my peers had already established paths. This dynamic was different. Counting my peers and local legends like Fiend, Ron D Core, Arcid, Virtue, Techno-B, C1B2, 303 Abuse, Inyoung, Teknoman, and Demigod, you get the sound of the LA Hardcore Underground—one of the most diverse scenes you'll ever find. The crew consists of Kousei Muraki, ADAM, SHINYA, SHOJI, INUGAMI. The "TOTAL DESTRUCTION" party is the only party in japan that is hosting such big underground artists! The hardcore state on mind in the crew is what makes everything possible!
