Una vez más tenemos el gusto de recibir a la académica Teresa López Pellisa con una cápsula sobre la escritora peruana Rosa Arciniega. Una mujer que rompió las barreras y los estereotipos de la época, radicó en España por mucho tiempo. La reflexión es sobre la propuesta distópica que hace esta brillante escritora y visibilizar la obra de una autora injustamente olvidada y una figura muy relevante a principios del siglo XX en España y Latinoamérica, autora de 6 novelas, una novela radiofónica, feminista, aviadora, etc. Además, es autora de una distopía muy singular publicada en 1933. Fue piloto en la Escuela de Aviación Civil en Valencia, colaboró en el diario republicano El pueblo y en otras más como El Tiempo de Bogotá, El Diario La Prensa de Nueva York y La Prensa de San Antonio, Texas. En 1932 salió su libro Mosko-Strom que reivindica la importancia de los valores humanistas frente al desarrollo económico, la técnica y las transformaciones sociales de la modernidad.

Fresh Xmas Disco

This lovely contemporary composition titled "Singing Skies" is filled with serenity and calm vibes, and a few twinkly surprises. This slow composition by Mary Kay Aufrance is performed with her husband Tom Aufrance. "Singing Skies" is a shimmering sonic journey where the Aufrances' usual voice and guitar have transcended their earthly forms and become ethereal instrumental soundscapes. This recording was crafted entirely by the two artists, who sang and played all the instruments acoustically, then sculpted the tones through the alchemy of a digital audio workstation. Like the process that the Aufrances used to create it, this instrumental composition unfurls like a moon-lit sky with gentle, expansive, and quiet wonder.

Mary Kay’s slow synth drifts as luminous threads of air, weaving through Tom’s low frequencies that pulse in and out of the composition like the heartbeat of the piece. Together, they create an atmosphere that feels both intimate and infinite, suspended between earth and heavens, where every note feels like a song of floating nebula and swirling stars.

It’s more than music. This composition is a shared breath between two souls, rendered in sound. A perfect embodiment of serenity, unity, and the boundless beauty of collaboration.

Singing Skies

Being musician and artist "since ages", the last two decades and all the developments in digital music broadened my interests and activities in doing music actively and passively. Not being shy of any genre (OK, leave off some Punk and Extreme Metal derivates) I engage in composing, arranging, mixing and collaborating. 

Oh, and I do all my artwork and designs as well. And as you may notice I regard AI as a friendly helper.
