My Journey into Trance – by Eumarkia (Mark)

Ever since I was a young boy growing up in the Netherlands, I’ve been captivated by the sounds of trance music. The live sets of legends like Tiësto and Paul van Dyk sparked something deep in me—something that never faded. While other kids were out playing, I was piecing together tracks in Traktor, creating my own little mix journeys without even owning a mixer or decks. Just a mouse, a screen, and a head full of melodies.

By the age of 20, I found myself dancing at massive events like Trance Energy and the unforgettable Tiësto in Concert. I still remember the goosebumps as thousands of us moved as one to those euphoric buildups and soaring breakdowns. Those nights were more than just parties—they were experiences that shaped me.

Fast forward to my 40s, and my love for trance has only deepened. These days, I prefer the smaller, more intimate gatherings. Events like Luminosity Beach Festival and Have Faith in Trance have become my go-to spots. There’s always a welcoming, down-to-earth vibe, with lineups full of uplifting DJs who truly understand the emotional power of trance.

As an artist, I go by the name Eumarkia—a blend of euphoria, Mark, and melody. The name was born through a moment of inspiration. I love crafting long, flowing mixes where tracks breathe and evolve, carrying the listener through waves of energy and emotion.

Trance isn’t just music to me—it’s a feeling, a connection, a lifelong passion. And I’m still on that journey, one mix at a time.

Evolving Suns Audio is an electronic music producer from the Southwest of the UK that specialises in Trance, Techno and dance music genres. Experience includes DJing throughout Plymouth and the southwest in various clubs and venues. Events and nights played on to match his pedigree: Utopia Hard Dance Nights in torquay, Cohesion Trance nights, Hardcore Resurrection, Playing on Nights supporting DJs such as Dave Pearce , Darren styles and more. Keen to help others grow and reach similar goals he has established Evo Sonic Trance nights and is running that with another local Trance DJ.

DJ Mentor Volunteer with DJR Success managing DJs helping them find DJ sets and gigs within the southwest.

How I describe My DJ sets: I like energy and bringing energy to a crowd to get them moving, the music,I carry this out in my DJ set with Mashups bootlegs and my own productions.

 JayH was born in Liverpool,Uk 5th of May 1975,from an early age he always had a fascination of music especially anything on vinyl.As a 4 year old he would regulary sneak down stairs in his house in the early hours of the morning while his folks were asleep and turn records with his fingers still not understanding how to turn the record player on!!Influenced through his father he grew accustomed to the early electronic music such as Jean Michael Jarre and Kraftwerk.

JayH bought his first vinyl turntables at the age of 16 and from then he hasn't turned back.Since then he has featured in various bars and clubs around the country.Dj JayH quotes "Music is the worlds most powerful weapon,it can bring countries and people of all ethnics together as one."
