A memorial tribute for one of my all-time favorite singer/songwriters, David Crosby. Growing up listening to his songs with my father, analyzing his words and music by my lonesome in the late hours of the night, following the dramas of his conflicts and online feuds, seeing him live in concert on his Sky Trails tour in 2019, finally hearing gorgeous outtakes from the 50th anniversary edition of his debut album... These are all special memories of a special man, who I never met, but who has been just as much of an influence on me all the same. So here's an acoustic demo, recorded in the late hours of the night, of Crosby's song "Almost Cut My Hair" from the CSNY album 'Déjà Vu'. Rest in peace, Croz. Thanks for the music...
